Got a fever? Must be a spring thing

Spring fever. You can get it a hundred ways. If you’re not careful, it can even be fatal.

There are plenty of signs. The warm little breeze. Brown birds nesting in the trees. Bright green grass stains on your knees.

It’s the land of rent-free birdhouses, overflowing bird feeders, free-swinging dog and cat doors, endless worm-filled lawns, tasty flower beds, topless garbage cans and free snails.
